Hotels in Taipei are very expensive. For the budget travelers, we decided to stay at this hotel.  This is a hotel operating under the alias of a hostel. Not to be confused with the International Taipei Youth Hostel (located on ZhongXiao road level 13).

We stayed 4 nights here on a holiday. The room was clean, quiet & welcoming.  The bathroom was perfectly clean and shiny, with plenty of towels, shampoo, and toiletries. Basically, it had all the features we were expecting. The buffet breakfast was nice.

This hotel would suit both a romantic get away and the business travellers. A well furnished modern contemporary  style rooms, great breakfast and friendly, helpful reception staff who are eager to please. Reasonably close to the efficient Taipei MRT network.
