Summer is Japan starts from as early as April – September in the south. In August, many prefectures celebrate summer with a huge fireworks festival. The fireworks are beautiful with the Japanese mostly dressed up in yugata. The festival comes with lots of funfair stores with games & food.

There are also summer sales clearing the spring fashion at very irressible prices. If you are not daunted by the heat, summer in Japan is very enjoyable.

I love spring & summer the best ! Winter is nice if there is snow. Otherwise the coldness numbs my feet & hands …….
