Singapore: Chendol & Bandung Drink

Chendol is a favourite ice dessert sold everywhere in Singapore. From Hawker centre to restaurants.

Bandung is a drink made from milk and rose syrup.

Central Market

At the central market along Jl Tun Fuad Stephens, lots of dried seafood and local snacks are sold here in Kota Kinabalu city. But the dried shrimps & small fish don’t look top grade. Salted fish and dried sea cucumber are plentiful here. Bargain for a good price.

Central Market / Wet Market & BBQ food

This central market is facing the sea and in front of Le Meridien Hotel (Jln Tun Fuad Stephens Road). Just next to the handicraft market.
The BBQ food section & wet market only starts from 5pm. The food is not expensive. But if you order more at one go, you can get a discount.

SEDCO SQUARE: EVENING FOOD STALLS, Kota Kinabalu

Many seafood restaurants are available for selection from the evening food stalls in Sedco Square. This square is just below Hamin Lodge. Sometimes from 7:30pm, there are live performances. But when I was there, I didn’t see any of the performances.
